Jaymie's biodata

I am currently a year 4 undergraduate student in NUS, and will be awarded a B Sc. in Life Sciences (Hons) with specialization in Biomedical Science.

I have a passion for sports and journalism, and was appointed President of the Lianhe Zaobao Schools Sports Correspondents Club in 2003 where I was involved in organising a nation wide table tennis tournament. I also spend much time in church, where I am a Sunday school teacher to 5 year-olds and the alto section leader for the choir. I am a self-driven and determined person, striving to always do my best in everything that I undertake.

Hi Jaymie,

I feel that your biodata is coherent and the tone is just right. Perhaps you could emphasize on the skills you gathered through your church activities and interests. But really, this biodata is just right I have nothing much to comment on. Good work!

Hi Jaymie,

I feel that your biodata is a good description of your skills and capabilities. However, I feel that there is quite little emphasis on the skills pertaining to your major. Perhaps it might be good to list some skills which you have picked up in your course of study.

Hi Jaymie,

First of all, the tone used in your Biodata is appropriate. Mentioning of your achievements in various community services did bring out your ability to take responsible for positions given to you. From your Biodata, I can feel that you are also a sport-lover. However, you could mention in more details on your responsibility during your course as well as your task on your section leader. This will make your Biodata more convincing. In this way, it might bring out your qualities more. Overall, good effort!

Hi Jaymie,

your biodata is clear and the tone you used is correct. You have emphasized on your interests and the role you play in church. But i think you can include what skills you have gained from your achievements.

Great Job!

Hi Jaymie,

Your biodata is brief and is clear. I can identify your personality, working style and past work experience from it.

Such would be a good biodata that effectively communicates its content to the reader.

Cheers!

Hi Jay,

I think you can consider using this biodata in your cover letter. Very crisp and precise, highlighting traits which employers should be looking out for. How about talking more on the intrinsic side of your character when you're going to add it into your cover letter?

Cheers,
Eugene

Hi Jaymie,

I feel that your biodata is quite well-written. You managed to include your interest, past experience and values within the 100-word limit.

If there is anything to improve on, perhaps you may like to write about some of the practical skills/techniques you possess which can be applied when you work.

Thanks, Jaymie, for the fairly informative biodata. Like Yihao, I was a little surprised not to read anything related to your studies/major :-)
